The consultant must also present good writing skills in order to generate documents, mails and reports. Convincing capabilities is another important thing to have as the consultant has to explain and convince customers.

 

ERP consultants must be quick in grasping the customer's requirements and provide solutions to the business process. He or she has to be well aware with latest business tools. The consultant have to make sure that the system is working as what required by the customer and that it is following standards and constraint.

 

ERP consultant must be up to date with the business models like production, manufacturing, customer relationship management, human resources management, finance, supply management, inventory, purchase and so forth. This job requires the consultant to set up the rules and design business process, standards as well as rules.
